We can’t say enough good things about the transformational and conscious Unifier Festival (see our coverage from last year here). This festival will undoubtedly be demonstrating yet again that New England has a growing and inspiring conscious community.

Unifier Festival is bringing together an amazing  group of inspirational musicians, artists, educators and change-makers for their 3rd annual 4-day event this June 17th-20th, 2016 in beautiful Tolland, Massachusetts. Situated on 476 acres of forest, field and lake, Unifier’s vision honors and brings together various sub-cultures; this gathering is a yoga festival, a world and sacred music festival, a dance party, a live art show, a place for ceremony, for permaculture, for sculptural works, circus arts and on-site camping. Unifier welcomes all who attend to care for the land, to enjoy organic  food, to be inspired and inspire our kids and our elders. This is a sacred celebration of all that we are and all that we can be.

Unifier festival is an experiential, interactive event that builds community and earth-centered awareness through arts and entertainment while promoting sustainable living. The festival’s philosophy is deeply rooted in honoring nature, ourselves and one another, based on the premise that we were all born to live creatively, that we can come together and dare to be inspiring while creating culture together. Unifier curates and facilitate events that aim to share wisdom, ideas, dancing, singing, painting, story, poem and song, balancing our minds, our hearts and our bodies.
Something we we really love about Unifier is that a significant portion of proceeds from the festival, over multiple years, will be put in a Land Trust Fund for a retreat center and potential eco-village to be owned in perpetuity, governed by council, and in service to community.

This year Unifier is excited to welcome to their stage Balkan Beat Box, Emancipator & Emancipator Ensemble, Niyaz featuring Azam Ali,  Hassan Hakmoun, Desert Dwellers,  The Human Experience,  Youssoupha Sidibe, Club D’elf,  Incus, Women of the World, Peia and many others.  The First Nation Elders will be joining the gathering for the 3nd year along with Grandmother Kaariina, Malidoma Patrice Somé and Elders from various cultures that carry and share indigenous wisdom including an array of  yoga, Qigong and Kirtan offerings. Children’s Programming, sculptural works, live painting, immersive workshops and installations by various visual artists and sculptors.
The festival vendors include many handmade,  fair-trade items and the festival is working hard to invite those who provide organic, local as possible, cruelty-free food.  This is a camping optional event (which we highly recommend doing), with swimming, canoeing and kayaking available.  Weekend or Day Passes are also available.
