Our CBD Salve Tests and Experiences
A couple of us at Shift have been using the Joy Organics CBD salve for a few weeks now and we can say that it has been grabbed all-too-often as our go-to for whenever we had a cut, scrape, or pain. When we would get cuts or minor wounds on our hands from sharp objects, we would first grab our bottle of food grade 3% hydrogen peroxide to clean the area, followed by applying some of the salve on it to seal the wound and let the CBD do its magic.
Since this is a salve, a little goes a long way, both the 500 ml and 1,000 ml jars could last you months or even over a year if you use it sparingly. Since we are physically active outside and get nicked a good amount, we have been using it quite often and we still have barely dug into the jar.
The beeswax created a barrier between the wound and the outside world, while the CBD heals the cuts far quicker than they wound heal if you just slapped a band-aid on them. It is amazing how fast any sign of a cut or a scrape goes away.

Our CBD Energy Drink Mix Test and Experiences
We took this powder and mixed it into a mason jar filled with 16 ounces of water. As people who almost never drink anything other than water, the taste was overwhelmingly sweet. We read the instructions said that you could mix it in anywhere between 16 and 32 ounces of water, so we mixed it with 32 ounces, yet it was still too sweet for us. Our guess is that you would have to dilute this even more if you are not used to strong sweet flavors, but then you would be drinking a lot of water, so you may not be able to benefit from the amount of CBD that is in the packet.
Stevia, one of the natural sweeteners in this energy drink mix, is 200 times sweeter than sugar! This means a little goes a very long way, so our suggestion would be for Joy Organics to reduce the sweeteners. Besides it being too sweet, the taste was decent, although we would prefer it to only include natural fruit punch flavor instead of both natural and artificial. The inclusion of a whole host of performance-enhancing amino acids is a welcome addition, however, as are the many vitamins, such as A, B2, B6, B12, C, D, E, and K.
Overall, we found this drink mix to indeed help with our workouts and post-workout pain reduction, but we would much rather go with one of Joy Organics’ CBD oils for this, such as their CBD oil tinctures.
