Soniko was born in the city of Kitu (the sacred place of the centered sun), a place very closed to the equator, the land of the mighty condor. Growing up in this city of 3 million people he learned the negative effects of being disconnected from the natural world and this was the trigger for the awakening of his spirit and the searching for what he felt was something bigger then himself.
Artist, Musician, Visionary, and walking the ways of ” the wise human”, Soniko is just like any other being on this Pachamama (mother earth) but his conscious walk has led him in to a beautiful world of wonder and magic. He’s a Kokopelli , a seed carrier. His purpose in life is to serve our planet sharing these seeds of a new consciousness anywhere he goes, building bridges between the different worlds, connecting the ancient indigenous perspectives with the modern points of view…In this way he co-creates the new galactic cosmovision of this new time with all his relations.
In 2004 Soniko’s first long journey lead him to a mystical mountain in the south west of the Andes to visit a very powerful neo-shamanic school called Condor Blanco. There he learned the importance of a vision and how to pray for one, and so he did. This event was the start point of the rest of his life as a conscious being walking on Earth.
Then in 2005, he moved to the north west side of Turtle Island, to Sinixt territory, also known today as BC. Canada, where he actually lives and where he met the Sinixt chief Ki-xu-x’us-kit and his family who adopted him as a member of their clan and taught him about their culture, cosmovision and traditions…here he learned about the interesting situation of this original peoples. It’s then, when he starts using his computer skills to support Sinixt sovereignty bringing awareness to the settlers of this place, sharing with them about the still ongoing genocide, working towards a new kind of relationship between this two worlds living on this same land.
At the same time Soniko met a very powerful wise being. Grandfather Peyote, who has been a great teacher for him, who opened the doors to the medicine realm and expanded his connection to the spirit world. Currently, his vision is moving him all over Turtle Island where he meets with many wise elders of the different cultures, from whom he receives new seeds and learns how to assist Pachamama and her children in the awakening process.
One of these seeds is the HEART MAP EXPERIENCE, a writing technique designed and developed by Soniko since 2005. It’s based on ancient wisdom and modern forms of processing information in logical and artistic ways. Now he shares this seed in the form of workshops and ceremonies, helping everyone with an open heart and who is ready to give the first steps into the manifestation of their ideas, projects, dreams and visions.
Soniko’s main artistic channel is music. His sound is a mix of different influences, rhythms and styles, bringing to live the spirit of Turtle Island. His passion for the arts has led him to create and work in a variety of projects over the years. Soniko has recorded and produced four CDs all original and collaborated in many other productions with different musicians.
In 2013 he started the conscious practice of TAKYSAMY or the ancient Andean art of healing with melodies and harmonic sounds. His teacher in this sacred art is Shairy Quimbo, one of the last practitioners of this discipline, he lives in Otavalo, Andes.
Soniko has integrated Takysamy to the Heart Mapping Experience and the spiritual technology of ceremony, making this new seed his own unique contribution to the world.
There are many more things to say about Soniko but what is definitely more important to him, is that every being in this time and place recognizes their important and unique mission to fulfill in life. and it’s our responsibility to do what we can to walk our sacred path… And so, in his own words, this is what Soniko has say about himself:
